I just stumbled upon 3 new Ok Go music videos, and there as awesome as ever.
The first video is a choreographed dog trick show
The second video is a stop motion animation made with 215 loafs of expired bread.
The last video is a giant musical parade across Los Angeles spelling out OK GO in the patern of the streets.

So this year, I’ve decided, rather than to set unreachable goals for myself, to let any and all of my subscribers know a better way choose a New Years resolution. This video I’ve posted really does put the idea into prospective, so you should be able to make more conscious decisions about what needs to change in your life, and what resolution is simply impractical (I wanna make a million dollars).

Do you know much about the world of finance? I bet you don’t. I think that if you knew any of the facts about the world of finances you’d be a little nervous. Just Kidding! Well maybe, this fictional video was brought to my attention and I thought that it was funny about the possibility for the end of the world because of finances instead of because the Mayan’s prediction. It is interesting to see this possible situation. Check it out!

Wrestling with your friend at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire should not be the reason you can’t ski for an entire 6 day trip. I’ve basically been sitting in and brushing up on my Whose line is is anyway collections, as well as napping excessively and checking my email.
Like almost everything else these days (except a Flipside Account), my trip to the peak of Jay had a catch. It was 3:35 at the time of gondola departure, which meant there was only one more trip for the 40 passenger’s cabin to span the mountain’s height. I never had the time to snowshoe the entire peak and descend to the base (fail #2).
Really not a regrettable trip….well, honestly it was the most disappointing I’ve ever been on, but still was a good time to a degree. The fun partying, basic meals and ski-less days were enough to show me a good time for 6 times. Hope you’re having a fun time this winter break, and I think we’ll have a good video blog up real soon!

Happy New Years everyone. Today’s January first, 2011! If you go to college or are planing to go to college, today is the first day you can file the FASFA. If your a child of a low income family there is a good chance you could get a great deal of money in grants to your school. I filed the FASFA last year and they payed for almost my entire tuition at Temple University. Go to the following website to SAVE BIG!!!

I discovered possibly the best thing on earth! After. Holiday. Clearance. I’m in love with the sales. I don’t ever think I have been so excited to shop in my life!
The first place that I went to was Kohl’s of course! They did all their after holiday mark downs on Monday and Tuesday so everything is 60-90% off! I was able to purchase over 100 dollars worth of stuff for 35 dollars
The next store that I went to was Walmart…I know it isn’t that great of a store if you think about it, but they have cheap clothes and I was able to buy alot for a good price!
The third and last store I was able to go to was Deb Shop in the oxford valley mall. They had boxes and boxes of very inexpensive clothes. If I had the money left I would have been able to get a whole new wardrobe for less than 100 dollars. I was stretching it at 50 so I was able to get tops, a new pair of jeans, and new shoes. Not bad at all.
What are you going to get with the after holiday clearance around you?

I just recently read this blog talking about simple and effective ways to be smarter with your money… it actually suggests something that I haven’t ever done.
Simply Calculate what you make in a certain timespan (600 for example), then try and really account every expense you might encounter in that same timeframe, and trim it to fit perhaps 100 or more less than what you’re making. This way, you can have a grasp on what your situation will be in the upcoming months, rather than feeling like you’re constantly almost in the negative…I’d have to admit that’s my situation at times. :-/
Definitely check the blog out and follow both Financial Teen and Projectflipside on Twitter! Financial Teen
I’ll be checking in later this week with some sick pics from Jay Peak, VT. Wish me the best powder and keep the comments rolling.
