I dislike them so much that if they called me for any reason, I would tell them I’d call them back later and then never call them. Yeah…that much. The best part about the Super Bowl is MADONNA!!!!! Whoa, sorry my cat just onto my laptop and apparently likes Madonna. She’s performing at halftime for some reason and it coincidentally reminds me of this Super Bowl matchup, a few years past it’s prime. Madonna has as much right to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show as the Black Eyed Peas…and thats none at all.

I may watch the Super Bowl for 2 reasons this year, the commercials and the snacks. Well actually I can have the snacks anytime I want so it looks like my only reason is for the commercials. Oh, you mean the same 6 advertisers that buy up the airtime every single year? Bud Light, Fed Ex, Car companies, Doritos, and that E-Trade baby. It gets pretty old. I’d rather not plan to finish my weekend watching commercials on TV. Skyrim sounds more appealing than that. Who am I kidding, though? I’m probably gonna watch it just like all of you…and there’s nothing we can do about it.

They we’re no animals outside whatsoever!

So we walked around pretty much an empty Zoo, which closed at 4 by the way, for about 2 hours.

Silver lining you ask? It was all free! Yep I got the hook up at the Zoo ladies and gentleman. Got to park for free, enter for free, and walk for free.

Okay so I’m exaggerating a bit when I say NO animals we’re out. Here are some pictures I took while we were at the Zoo yesterday.

This was the extent of about the types of animals we did get to see in the short time we were there though. Hope you all enjoyed!

All of the products cost full price too so make sure you have your debit card on you. Maybe it’s just me, but I wouldn’t get an iPod from a vending machine…what if it breaks when it falls into the chute? Waste of money and there are no returns to a vending machine. If you’ve never used a Proactiv machine…don’t. The first and last time I used Proactiv my face turned bright red. Jeez, that hurt. But I digress…

Vending machines are a great way to say money when you want to eat something quick, while also saving time and money. Some machines offer sandwiches and full meals you can cook in the microwave. I’m not saying they’re the healthiest things for you…but they sure are good. If you have some spare change, visit the next one you see. I just ordered Combos…you jealous?

The point I’m trying to make ladies and gentleman is if there is a way for any of us to get our work out there I believe we should all do it! Take Tyler for instance, who is on the Flipside Crew, he is a YouTube partner and makes money every month by posting videos! It all started as a fun thing for him by putting his comedy work out there, and now he’s making money doing it.

A friend of mine aspires to be an actress, and the other day her “Adviser” said to her “You’re dreams are unrealistic.” Well I can understand that she may have only been doing her job telling her that, but I bet the same thing was told to every big named actor/actress out there today! Guess there are times when these “Advisers” are wrong.

However I was in luck. It turns out my cousin’s kid is in the girl scouts and she was selling cookies. I got a box of cookies for $3.50! What a deal! and it was the peanut butter kind! THE BEST!

So there I was I got her an awesome gift for an awesome price! Oh and it turns out she isnt a fan of the peanut butter cookies! SO I ATE THEM! I’M AWESOME!!!!!!

Some of you might remember a blog I wrote a while ago on the differences between film vs video. I mentioned in that article that Kodak has been struggling to avoid bankruptcy. Well they finally filed for it. The company will probably have to lay off more employees and rethink their whole business strategy. This is a good lesson about how if you run a business you must always be looking ahead. Fuji film was able to rework its structure and keep up with the digital age better than its competitor. Will kodak adopt their structure or have they already had their “moment”……get it?

It’s almost as if you are hired to do a job when someone you don’t know asks you to do something. When you’re sink is leaking water and you call a plumber, you don’t know him, but you do know he has the skills you need to fix your sink so you pay him for his time. Why should it be any different for you if someone calls on you for help? Who cares if you’re not a “professional” yet, you’re still working ,and that’s the point I’m trying to make. There is a saying that everyone knows, that goes back before I or either of us was born, “Time is money” and that’s a fact! As you get older every second could be used to make money and any time you’re giving up your time, you better make sure you are making some money for it!

I get assigned to my room in the observation unit and laid down in the bed…man I forgot how comfortable these things were. So nurse #1 comes in…we make small talk and she miraculously pulls this small monitor attached to an adjustable robot arm out from the wall and places in in front of me. I thought it was hospital equipment, it ended up being the TV. I think “well this won’t be so bad after all”.

After I get situated, I watch ESPN and play on my phone. This is easy. Not until nurse #1 tries twice to hit my vein. I’m a very veiny person, so I find it odd that it always takes so many tries whenever I need a to get blood drawn. Sounds like a ME problem I guess. She gives up and gets nurse #2 to come in and do it successfully. Shortly after, I see the food menu..”Is all of this free?”..her reply: “Yes, all free.”

I ordered an omelette and a side of bacon. I enjoyed everything about it except for the fact I only received 2 pieces of bacon. TWO!? So, I ordered an entire plate of bacon. I could get used to living there. An hour later they brought me spaghetti and meatballs that I didn’t even ask for! What is this sorcery? So after a few hours nurse #3 comes in to check my blood pressure. She was cute…engage seductive Tyler. I talked to her a bit and we were enjoying each others company…until…nurse #1 came in to check my blood pressure the rest of my time there. WHY? Where is the cute nurse? i guess I can’t complain…I received a plate of free bacon. My remaining time there I just took a nap. So after 4-5 hours they finished up and I headed home. I go back in 2 weeks…MORE BACON.

which I’ve seen before, and it was still awesome the second time and I saw Kung Fu Panda 2. Kung Fu Panda 2 wasn’t bad, in fact it was pretty good but, it didn’t hold a candle to the first one. So that being said I don’t know if it was worth the 5 dollars I spent to order it on demand.

I didn’t have much of an appetite yesterday, but the food I eat when I’m sick I love! I don’t know if I like it because I’m sick, but I had chicken noodle soup and toast with cream cheese and jelly all day. Pretty simple? Yes I know, but it’s the little things in life right? Well I am going to go recover by watching more movies. What do you think guys should I watch Wedding Crashers or Dodge-ball? Hmmm choices choices.
