I can’t believe I’m saying this already, but the summer is beginning to wind to a close, and it’s time to start thinking about heading back to school. For some of us, that means going back to college or going to college for the first time. Either way, your dorm room or apartment is going to need some serious stuff to make it your home for the next nine months, and that can get pretty expensive. There really isn’t a cheap way to get everything you need, but there are cheaper alternatives. Stores like Target and Wal Mart offer better prices than most other stores, and they typically have large sections of dorm gear. Best case scenario, you grab Mom’s credit card and go to town buying everything you need, but when reality sets in and you realize that’s not an option, check out the links I’ve included for Target and Wal Mart college departments.
