Reach in your pocket right now…you’re bound to have a coin or two in there. Spare change is a highly underrated way to pay for things. People sometimes even go to the extent of throwing their change on the ground. Blasphemy! I survive with loose change, it helps with parking, food, and many other things. I know I’m not the only person that hates breaking a dollar.
I suggest reaching into your couch from time to time and stash that change in a jar for safe keeping. Another upside is if you’re a member of Bucks First Federal Credit, you can use the coin machine to export your change into dollar bills and it’s all free! (If you’re a member). For non members, you get charged 5%. Which is a steal compared to places such as TD bank or CoinStar who takes 15% of your money. It’s your money, USE IT WHEN YOU NEED IT…..sorry that commercial is annoying.
So if you have a few quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies laying around on dressers and in your pockets, start collecting them! I still pick up pennies off the ground. Not only is it still money, but if it’s heads up, you’re gonna have an awesome day!
