Welcome to another exciting edition of Zaction News! Hopefully you chose the penny story last week, because it was the fake one. Here are this week’s stories. Enjoy and vote!!
Our first story today is about a man who caused a pretty serious traffic jam in Los Angelas when he threw money out of his car window. About ten people stopped and ran out into the road to collect the money. About 1,000$ was recovered by the authorities, but no one really knows how much was collected by the people running in traffic. Police have asked people to return the money to the police station, but I have to say i think it’s highly unlikely that anyone would do that now….

The second story today is about a man who owned an original copy of the first Archie comic, and is now selling it out of anger because the main character (Archie) has finally proposed in issue number 600, and the girl he chose to marry was not the one readers wanted him to choose. The owner of the comic book is selling issue number one for over 38,000$ as a form of protest, although the author of the comic seems to believe it’s more about the money. Either way, sounds like this comic book collector is going to be a wealthy man.

Our final story today is about a St. Joseph, Michigan man who found a chest full of gold coins in Lake Michigan. The man was on a snorkeling trip when he noticed a tiny glimmer at the bottom of the lake. He swam down, and retrieved a chest full of coins valued at roughly 20,000$. Authorities believe the coins date back to shortly after the civil war, when old war ships were docking in the harbor. Bandits would occasionally raid the ships for their valuables.
